Our kennel name Sgurr means 'the peak' in Gaelic and our aim in breeding is to produce top quality dogs with excellent temperament that can be both willing workers and biddable companions. All the Sgurr breeding dogs are fully health tested, right from the beginning. Enid has been breeding since 2006 and Donald joined Sgurr in 2015. Donald and Enid have complementary skills: Donald works and trains all the dogs and Enid has a scientific background and attends KC Breeder Seminars and the Institute of Canine Biology internet courses.  All our dogs will continue to be fully health tested to ensure that we are breeding good quality dogs.   We are proud of our pups and keep in touch with them and their families through our Facebook page Sgurr Springer Spaniels Health Tested Working Dogs.
